DBG Classics will once again be present at Batibouw in Brussels Expo, from Tuesday 14 to Sunday 19 March 2023.

We would like to welcome you to our exhibition stand where you can discover our authentic wrought-iron garden conservatories in person.

Why is Batibouw still the ideal place to get information on the construction sector?

Batibouw brings together all segments of the building sector: from building or renovation, changing energy rules and environmental regulations, new products, materials and services, to new building concepts and construction methods.

As an individual, you can get to know in person all kinds of brands and companies and talk to the many representatives who can offer you solutions for your needs and budget.

Sustainability and energy themes

This edition puts a special emphasis on sustainability and energy in these uncertain times of rising energy prices, health crisis and war.

These have led to skyrocketing energy bills and rising prices of building materials, which make us think and wonder about alternatives.

This fair is therefore all about alternatives to our current energy consumption so that you (as a builder or renovator) can make the right choices in the current climate.

Energy efficiency, energy consumption, new technologies, sustainable building materials… It will all be covered at Batibouw!

Moreover, this year’s organisers are leading by example towards a carbon-free future with concrete measures to reduce energy consumption, such as:

  • a strategically shorter duration of the fair
  • fewer single-use materials
  • less heating and lighting of exhibition halls
  • rewards for exhibitors who build their stand in a sustainable way

Need inspiration?

Besides the focus on energy and sustainability, there are four other themed spaces worth a mention. These are all part of the so-called Batibouw Experience:

  1. Energy Solutions, where you will find solutions to today’s energy problems
  2. Batibouw Academy, where knowledge and know-how are shared during seminars and workshops
  3. Matchmaking Zone, where you can book an appointment with experts and partners who will provide you with independent advice
  4. Kitchen Xperience, where you can discover the kitchen of the future
  5. Flex Living, where you discover what it means to live and work flexibly

For whom is a visit to Batibouw worthwhile?

Individuals and professionals alike are in for a treat at the Batibouw construction fair at Brussels Expo.

Professionals

From architects and engineering firms, who come there for inspiration on the latest materials and services in the construction market, to clients and professionals from various sectors such as:

  • energy experts
  • installers
  • electricians
  • plumbers
  • contractors
  • garden contractors

Private individuals

Batibouw is a wealth of information for individuals looking for info on the big steps of their next building or remodelling project and what subsidies one may be eligible for to help finance the project.

Examples include:

  • young families with a dream of building or renovating their first home or who are more interested in flexible living (visit the Flex Living area for container homes, temporary home extensions, tiny homes, etc.)
  • newly recomposed families considering an extension or conversion (playroom, office, extra bedrooms, authentic conservatory as veranda and solarium, etc.)
  • elderly people preparing for their retirement years and therefore in the market for products and services in the context of improved accessibility to their current home
  • other professionals who do not work in the construction industry but are in the market for products and services (expansion or renovation of retail space or a hospitality operator looking for a stylish terrace canopy, for example)

Brussels Expo also guarantees a smooth visitor experience with easy parking, restaurants, childcare, no queuing thanks to digital tickets (more on this later).
