Theme of the Flanders Garden Festival October 2024: John the Fearless

This year’s theme, ‘John the Fearless,’ refers to the medieval folk hero symbolising courage and fearlessness.

John the Fearless became known for his adventures and stories in which he overcame fears.

This theme emphasises boldness and determination, perfectly fitting the green environment of Beervelde, where innovation and tradition go hand in hand.

Visitors can be inspired by the cultural and historical references that bring this theme to life at the fair.

Where exactly is Beervelde Park located?

Beervelde Park is easily accessible via the E17 motorway, exit 11 in the direction of Lochristi.

Where can I park?

Parking is free and can be found in large meadows along the Beerveldse Baan.

When exactly will the Flanders Garden Festival in Beervelde October 2024 take place?

  • Friday 11 October from 10:00 to 17:00
  • Saturday October 12 from 10:00 to 17:00
  • Sunday 13 October from 10:00 to 17:00

How can I obtain tickets?

You can only order tickets online, prices are as follows:

  • €14 per person for a day ticket
  • €12 per person for groups of at least 25 people (group leader and driver free)
  • €25 per person for the whole weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
  • Tickets for certain workshops are also available and can be ordered separately
  • Children up to 14 years old can enter for free, but you still need to select a free ticket when ordering your tickets
  • Dogs are also welcome on a leash

Recharging options for electric cars

You can charge your electric car at one of the 9 charging stations of Bouwmaterialen De Wilde.

These 8 ordinary charging stations and 1 80kW fast charging station are located just 5 minutes’ walk from Beervelde Park.

Where can you find DBG Classics at the fair?

The DBG Classics stand is located in Zone 4 at stand 454.

Here you can admire our beautiful conservatories and simply have a conversation with our expert representatives who will be happy to talk to you.

Accessibility for persons who are less able-bodied

The park is fully wheelchair accessible with paved paths and other facilities for the less able-bodied.

However, the car park has moved and is now also located along the Beerveldse Baan.

Collection of your purchases

There is a Plant ‘Safe Locker’ and collection point for storing your purchases until you leave.

Eating options on site

There are several dining options on site, from snacks to elaborate meals.

Is this a child-friendly event?

Free children’s entertainment is available to welcome families with children too, including the necessary facilities to change your baby.
