Project Description

This black lean-to greenhouse with curved roof was built against a white garden wall in the client’s garden.

The client opted for a black model with raised wrought-iron wall on which the roof profiles rest.

The conservatory was fitted with a door made of wrought iron and glass on both left and right.

Bottom and top ventilation hatches guarantee good ventilation and temperature control (thanks to automatic greenhouse vent openers).

Discover below some interesting advantages of this type of black lean-to greenhouse.

Minimise your carbon footprint with the help of a conservatory

This type of black extension greenhouse in your garden allows you to eat fresh fruit and vegetables you have grown yourself.

You know perfectly well that they are completely organic that way and what’s more, you minimise your carbon footprint.

Because the fruits and vegetables you eat were not transported thousands of kilometers to finally end up on your table.

Moreover, it also does not require you to travel to the supermarket or convenience store (so you waste less polluting fuel and have less wasted time).

Trucks, planes and boats burn fossil fuels and consequently emit pollutants and gases.

So for those concerned about global warming, growing your own fruit and vegetables in a custom-made lean-to greenhouse is part of the solution.

This way, you can do your bit to combat global warming.

Fruit and vegetables with full, delicious flavours

Nowadays, we are all familiar with ready-to-eat vegetables in plastic packaging in the supermarket.

They are ready for consumption and so they cost much less time and energy for the consumer…

But unfortunately, this also comes with drawbacks such as a faint or even bad taste.

In contrast, when you taste fresh home-grown fruits and vegetables straight from your greenhouse, a new world opens up to you.

The flavours of home-grown fruits and vegetables in a greenhouse are unrivalled!

For example, a freshly harvested lettuce or some ripe, freshly picked tomatoes create a real explosion of full flavours in your mouth.

Relaxing is great in this type of black lean-to greenhouse

A stylish greenhouse adds value from an aesthetic point of view and can also provide tranquility and relaxation.

In a conservatory, you can enjoy reconnecting with Mother Nature where just busying yourself with some manual work can be incredibly relaxing.

Good for mental well-being

Regularly spending some time in a greenhouse and being busy with the plants, vegetables and fruits offers many benefits for your mental health.

Nowadays, we all live hurried and stressful lives, and more and more individuals suffer from burnout and depression.

Fortunately, a greenhouse in your garden can help keep your mental health more balanced!

For example, it can be really satisfying to spend some time in the conservatory after a difficult working day.

Preventing depression thanks to gardening

The scents, tranquility and manual labour help clear the head.

Spending time in a bright greenhouse with natural scents and growing flowers, vegetables, fruits and plants is an excellent way to combat feelings of depression, stress and anxiety.

Conclusion: This curved glass greenhouse is a calming aid without side effects that also produces delicious food products which can serve as the building blocks of healthy eating habits.

Very interesting for families with children

If you have children, gardening together in the conservatory is the ultimate way to enjoy some quality time together.

Being active with your hands together gives you time to relax.

And a greenhouse for your garden (a nice arched roof model) also offers opportunities to work together as a family towards certain goals.

Experiencing the process from sowing to harvesting with the whole family is unique.

In other words, a conservatory can be a place where you work with the children on a common and healthy project.

Boost coordination skills with the help of this black lean-to greenhouse

An added benefit is that your children will learn in a practical way how nature works and how to grow their own fruit and vegetables.

Interesting fact: Manual activity in the conservatory is good for children. It encourages their coordination and is an ideal tool to keep them away from the television, laptop, or other digital devices…

Moreover, thanks to the growth process, they learn that certain things take time.

Because these days, we live more and more in a society where instant gratification is key.

A tall wall greenhouse made of glass and wrought iron offers insight into natural growth processes and illustrates that instant gratification has no place in nature.

Growing tasty fruit and vegetables takes time and patience.
